Name:

Rossmore. is a street in LA. >> Vine, south of Melrose. The line is named for the mood of the only place in the City of Angels where gorgeous art-deco buildings glamorously rise out of the dystopian lost-angeles sprawl, while night-blooming jasmine perfumes the air...

Designer:

Suzanne Lequeux is a resident la street style homie, an award winning jeweler, blogger. and artist. She loves Los Angeles for all its fun & fluffery. She studied Painting, Photography, New Genres and Sculpture at UCLA. She then apprenticed with several jewelers and manufacturers in Los Angeles and New York, and also worked for showrooms and the best buyers and boutiques in the fashion business such as Madison Los Angeles and Fred Segal. Rossmore. the brand, is a sincere amalgamation of all she knows, loves, and enjoys.

Jewelry Story:

Upon graduating UCLA Art, Suzanne Lequeux dove into the fashion industry under many different capacities. She launched her first collection while working at the famed Madison et Cie where owner Mark Goldstein offered her a big break. There she was able to get her goods in front of the great eyes of Celebrities, Stylists and Showroom owners.  Not before long her jewelry was in RonHerman, FredSegal, AmericanRag, Big Drop and even a few boutiques in Japan! 

After the initial fanfare, Suzanne knew she was on to something with her designs, but wanted to make them even more unique and original! She took some time to apprentice and educate herself with fine jewelers and big manufacturers thus learning the fashion/jewelry biz. Whilst working, on the side, she would make molds of found objects, and plotted her new collection, piece by piece over the span of 7 years. Then one day, while wearing her new, now-hand-crafted, and completely original designs, a chance encounter with the Head Buyer of Planet Blue, lead to PB launching Suzanne's all new collection, Rossmore.! & then, not too long after, Kate Bosworth was seen sporting the "Only Heart" at fashion events around the world for over six months. Which lead to the Editor of Refinery29 heralding Rossmore. as H. O. T.!! Rossmore. has subsequently made the rounds on fashion journals and blogs worldwide.

Furthermore, to sweeten the deal of what Rossmore. really is, much of Suzanne's design work co-exists as fashion and commentary on the necessity of a return to time honored American Manufacturing Tradition through which she employs good practices to produce hand-crafted, hand-cut, hand-soldered sterling silver and 14k gold goods with soul as viable fashion products.

Rossmore. walks the line of edgy, with classic appeal, completely sophisticated and uncomplicated, yet full of quirky personality and humor.  Rossmore.'s assortment is comprised of cool and unexpected and sweet chic. Lequeux has directly influenced designs of cultural icons, movies, and much larger companies, as well as celebrity and streetstyle. Suzy attributes this endeavor to Madison Melrose, where she honed her eye and her ability to delight her customer. Perhaps more importantly though, she  became immersed in Los Angeles boutique and street-style culture. She has coupled these experiences and dealings in high-fashion-meets-trend merchandise to bring you "RossmoreLA.com"  Today, Suzanne wants to bring you a fun and quirky amalgamation of all she knows and enjoys in fashion, combined with this sharply honed LA-High-Low sensibility and an eye on detail and quality.
